JConcepts JCI The Forge w/ bed (Fits 12.3″ crawler truck)

The Forge body is the thrilling follow-up to the popular Anvil and the newest release from JConcepts for 12.3” wheelbase crawler trucks. The new design features an added rear bed directly connected to the cab. The sheet-metal style bed delivers a powerful appearance on the trails and, combined with the well-known Anvil cab, transforms the truck into a competition-inspired machine with the meanest look in the woods.

JConcepts set out to deliver something unique for the competition crawler scene. The combination of the Anvil cab and new panel bed creates a tough character, perfectly suited for rocks, hills, and demanding trails. The pre-trimmed body lowers the center of gravity to improve performance. Thin, sheet-metal style fender flares at the front provide maximum tire clearance, while the cutline flows into the grille area to accommodate a wide range of tire options.

The bed is utilitarian in design: the recessed floor provides space for accessories or can be trimmed to expose suspension or chassis geometry for the lowest installation. Undercut bed rails and 3D side panels enhance the realistic metal look. The industrial-style tailgate offers ideal placement for the included pre-trimmed decals. A large rear window and pre-trimmed window masks make detailing quick and efficient.

The front end features bold headlight and grille details, complemented by the included decal sheet with multiple options, distressed logos, and JConcepts Off-Road Shop aesthetics. The long, low-profile hood of the Anvil cab adds rigidity and detail, while recessed side windows with arched front glass reduce drag and maintain visibility for a “mock” driver.

Made from clear polycarbonate approximately 2.0 mm thick, the Forge body is rugged yet lightweight. It arrives pre-trimmed with protective film, window masks, and a large decal sheet, simplifying installation and customization. Designed in the USA, tested worldwide, and backed by JConcepts customer service, the Forge represents quality, performance, and authentic styling.

Pro Tip: For longer durability, carefully slot or elongate body holes so the mounts can move with chassis flex. This prevents the body from acting as a brace and allows more freedom of movement.
