The Desert Truck Octane in 1/18 scale, RTR (ready to use) model with four-wheel drive. The model comes standard with a powerful RC-370 turbo speed engine, managed by an efficient and proven 3in1 system, i.e. speed regulator, receiver and servo in a single box. Powered by a NI-MH 7.2 1100Mah battery, complete with Tamiya charger. Furthermore, the handwheel radio is 2.4 Ghz, thus definitively eliminating interference problems with other modelers and/or radio frequencies, and the 2.4 GHz receiver is equipped with integrated fail-safe (ensuring the model stops in the event of loss of contact between the radio and the receiver). All that remains is to unleash this little monster of power on the terrain you prefer: it will amaze you with its incredible performance! Jumps, holes and small obstacles will no longer be a problem. The Octane is assembled on a sturdy frame (lower and upper) in nylon, entirely with bearings, and a special feature of this model are the front constant velocity joints (not found on models of the same scale), the transmission is cardan with two differentials (front and rear) with crown covers to protect the crown and pinion. In short, a robust and compact mechanics in such a small space, comparable only to models of a higher scale. The bodywork surprises Off-Road lovers, a particular Desert line and cared for in the smallest details. A sturdy body that envelops the entire model almost like a shell. The structure placed on the body recreates a cockpit to accommodate the driver and his passenger. All spare parts available.
